Step aboard a rare piece of West Coast maritime history with this beautifully preserved 1927, 35 foot wooden vessel, *Goforth* For 40 years she was a missionary boat servicing remote B.C. coast communities. Between 2000 and 2003 she underwent a complete rebuild, ribs sistered, refastened, hull strengthened with fiberglass overlay, 4 cylinder Detroit engine rebuilt and electronics updated. M/Y Starlight is a superbly done cruiser or sport fishing mothership. The vessel is extremely strong fiberglass with ballast and rolling chocks to make it a great seakeeper.
Starlights interior is meticulously finished with teak and other exotic woods. Flooring and upholstery have been thoughtfully done and work with the wood finish to exude comfort and style. The salon is spacious and the adjoining galley is outfitted with top of line stainless steel appliances. The master stateroom has an abundance of storage and a large ensuite. 2 staterooms with 2 single berths and ensuite each provide great comfort for your guests.
The main engine had a significant rebuild approximately 1,000 hours ago and will be dependable for a long time to come. Range for cruising will be over 4,000 NM. Piping and mechanical fixtures are almost all stainless steel.
For the fishing enthusiasts, the vessel can carry two fishing skiffs topside and there is a Hiab crane to lift/lower them.
