Decibar is proven research workhouse starting with Fisheries and Oceans in 1966, converted to a Dive Boat from 1996 until she was purchased as a pleasure vessel in 2003. Well maintained with a 3116 Cat, new shaft, loads of room for conversion back to commercial use or continuing as a pleasure craft. Owner upgraded deflectors to ensure the rear deck stays dry during heavy seas, and scuppers ensure it stays so. Stored under cover during winters and floated each summer since 2003 so has had continued maintenance.
All aluminum, Western Shore is an expedition, charter, or personal yacht suited for any trip or adventure anywhere. Well appointed, the interior has good-sized berths and lounges up and down that can be used for many applications. There is abundant exterior deck space on three levels plus under deck storage with freezing capability. Dependable Cat power is backed up with "go home" system off auxiliary engine. Mechanically sound, the vessel has much redundancy. The owner will modify the sale by removing or adding items to the vessel, or painting as in Artist picture.
