USA Registered. IUKA, YTB 819 originally constructed for the US Navy as a NATICK Class large yard tug/fireboat. This ship is ready for work or could be the perfect world cruiser and liveaboard. It was in service from 1982 to 1995 at Port Hueneme, CA, at which time when it was turned over to another Government agency. In 2022 IUKA was sold by the United States Government General Services agency. Vessel is now in use as a training vessel at a West Coast Job Corps Facility. IUKA is in very good shape and ready to go. Fuel capacity of 29,496-US gal. Will allow the vessel to operate for approximately 350 hours at full throttle, full load. Under ideal conditions, IUKA could travel approximately 4,200 miles at full throttle, much farther at reduced throttle. Additionally, the cabin interior and amenities provide very good "liveability". For work or as a pleasure craft, IUKA is the "THE REAL DEAL".
