The Sun Cat heritage is the famous Cape Cod Cat used in the early 1900's to work the Clam and scallop beds in rough waters of Vineyard and Nantucket Sound. These boats carried huge loads in all kinds of weather and sea conditions. They became known for their stability, amazing speed and ability to sail into a steep chop. This is a modern fiberglass version of the original design. They are know for their high quality and continued high value. It has a patented Quick rigging system for easy trailering for day use.
